Pollinator Garden & Garden for Wildlife- Complete

Our pollinator garden, planted in 2019, provides habitat for some beautiful insects who also play an important ecological role. Butterflies, bees, and other insects – even some birds and bats – pollinate native plants and agricultural crops. But the populations of many of these species are declining. Planting pollinator gardens is one way to help reverse that trend. The flowering plants in this garden provide nectar for a variety of insect pollinators, and the grasses provide shelter. This garden is part of the Million Pollinator Garden Challenge, which promotes creation of pollinator gardens around the country and the world.
